Each trainer has boxing experience as a competitor or trainer.

The fundamentals of boxing are taught and modified to each Boxer according to fitness ability and level of Parkinson’s. Rock Steady Boxers range in age from late thirties to 90-years-young. The workouts are completely non-contact. Boxers can improve their level of fitness while having fun and relieving stress in a safe environment.

Workouts include ring work (16 X 16 regulation boxing ring), focus mitts, heavy bags, speed bags, double-ended bags, jump ropes, core work, calisthenics and circuit weight training. We can provide equipment or Boxers may bring their own. Boxers may also purchase a Rock Steady Gym bag, that includes gloves, handwraps, jump rope, and mouthpiece.
